Candle Care
Did you know that there is a proper way to burn a candle?

Here are our tips to help you get the most out of your Parker Candle Co candles:

-
Before every burn, use your wick trimmer to trim your wick to 1/4". This will prevent the wick from falling or from emitting smoke which will result in your container turning black. Get your wick trimmer by clicking here

-
On your initial burn, allow candle to burn until the wax pool reaches all edges of the container, this may take 2-3 hours. This will prevent the candle wax from tunneling around the candle wick.

-
After each burn, make sure the candle wick is centered in the wax. This will ensure that the candle glass does not overheat, as the wick and flame should never touch the candle glass.

-
Never leave a lit candle unattended or let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time. A lit candle should also only be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets. Discontinue use of the candle when only ¼ inch of wax remains, the glass can get overheated without the presence of wax and break.

We recommend using a wick dipper when putting out your candle. This will prevent smoke and ensure ash does not contaminate your candle. Get your wick dipper by clicking here
